The ACCRU Leadership

Leadership begins with a mindset of service. Each member of our leadership team is committed to the mission of ACCRU and to the scientific advancements of our members. We exist to serve our members as they work tirelessly to change the standard of patient care and improve the lives of patients.

Executive Committee

Executive Committee

Our Executive Committee sets the vision and strategy for ACCRU as we aspire to improve the lives of our patients with innovative clinical trials. This includes developing and recommending strategic plans and policies for administrative and scientific activities to submit to the Board of Directors. The work of the Executive Committee also includes facilitating the implementation of all strategic plans for development of ACCRU’s scientific portfolio of clinical research, including selection of Disease Group leaders and coordination of all clinical research support services. The Executive Committee also oversees daily operations and scientific activities to support the development and conduct of ACCRU clinical trials.

Board of Directors

Board of Directors

The ACCRU Board of Directors provides oversight for all research and membership activities and policies. This includes reviewing the Executive Committee’s recommendations, approving new membership applications, and implementing and updating the ACCRU Constitution and Bylaws. The Board of Directors also communicates and coordinates ACCRU’s scientific and operational activities with the Mayo Cancer clinical trial research operations.

Disease Group Leaders

Disease Group Leaders

ACCRU Disease Group Leaders guide clinical trial research for a designated disease area. This includes developing the scientific focus and agenda for clinical trial development and evaluating and approving all clinical trial concepts prior to submission for final approval to the Scientific and Administrative Research Committee. In addition, our Disease Group leaders are engaged in implementing, evaluating and reporting of clinical trials within the disease area.
